Friday Feb 19, 2021
Happy Friday, everyone! After a fearsome week of content, we're back in the main feeds and back on the regular schedule with EPISODE 138!
Following a cancellation, we're back in Andy vs Mitch territory a little earlier than scheduled, but fear not, we've got a good one lined up for you!
It's Mitch's selection, and his film choice? SNAKES ON A PLANE!
That's right! We're headed back to 2006 to join Samuel L Jackson, Julianne Marguiles, Lin Shaye, Kenan Thompson, Rachael Blanchard, Bobby Cannavale and many more aboard Pacific Flight 121, and things are about to get slithery on this motherfuckin' plane.
Synopsis is as follows...
FBI agent Neville Flynn (Samuel L. Jackson) boards a flight from Hawaii to Los Angeles, escorting a witness to trial. An on-board assassin releases a crate of deadly serpents in an attempt to kill the witness.
Flynn and a host of frightened passengers and crew must band together to survive the slithery threat.

What's this?
That's right, not content with a minisode, a main episode and some Patreon content this week, we're back with Bonusode 16 to round out this week!
With a week to go until it all gets underway, we're taking some time out to take a look at six of the key genre films at the Glasgow Film Festival this year. With the festival being entirely online this year, these films are way more accessible than they would be in an average year, so check them out!
Glasgow Film Festival runs from 24th February to March 7th - full listings are available at glasgowfilm.org

Friday Feb 12, 2021
Friday Feb 12, 2021
We made it, guys! Another week is over, another Friday is upon us and you know what that means, we're back in your feeds with EPISODE 137!
Our guest this week is UK Editor for Den of Geek, Rosie Fletcher!
Her film choice?
M Night Shyamalan's 2008 pandemic/vengeful plant/murderous wind thriller/road movie THE HAPPENING!
A first watch for Mitch, a revisit after many years for Andy, and a film that is a curious tangle of contradictions to say the absolute least.
Synopsis is as follows...
An apocalyptic threat to humanity arrives out of the clear blue sky with a series of violent, inexplicable deaths spreading across the country.
The cause of the terrifying phenomenon remains unknown, prompting science teacher Elliot Moore (Mark Wahlberg), his wife Alma (Zooey Deschanel) and his colleague Julian (John Alberto Leguizamo) to try to elude the invisible killer in Pennsylvania's farmland.
Soon it becomes clear that no one is safe.

135 - Body Melt (Andy vs Mitch)
Friday Jan 29, 2021
Friday Jan 29, 2021
Well, it's the final episode of January, and if you've been paying attention, you'll have noticed we've had guests on every main episode so far this month. Which can mean only one thing...it's Andy vs Mitch time for EPISODE 135!
It's Andy's turn to pick a film, and it's one that's cropped up in conversation a lot over the years on the show. It was only a matter of time before he took us back to 1993 for Philip Brophy's BODY MELT!
That's right, Andy's long-held love for sticky, slimy cinema pushes Mitch (and his long suffering stomach) to the limit with this one - synopsis is as follows...
Residents of peaceful Pebbles Court, Homesville, are being used unknowingly as test experiments for a new 'Body Drug' that causes rapid body decomposition (melting skin etc.) and painful death.

Find out in MINISODE 136!
Topics this week include Shudder Exclusive HUNTED, Netflix Original Documentary NIGHT STALKER, Mitch checks out Dave Franco's directorial debut THE RENTAL and Liv Tyler vehicle WILDLING. Plus, we have the next entry in Andy's side-quest where he delves into the world of NATURE GONE WILD with the wonderfully titled TERROR BIRDS!
Also, there's another installment of MITCH'S PITCHES!
Due to his well documented ignorance towards films, Mitch is shown a film poster with all titles, taglines etc removed and tasked with attempting to decipher the plot. Will it go well? The poster image can be seen below...

134 - Return of The Killer Tomatoes (with Michael Varrati)
Friday Jan 22, 2021
Friday Jan 22, 2021
Hello troops! What a week it's been. One President leaves, another enters, the world keeps on turning, and with that, we're back with EPISODE 134!
This week, we're joined by a writer/filmmaker responsible for DEATHCEMBER, DRAGULA, UNUSUAL ATTACHMENT and many more...
It's MICHAEL VARRATI!
The film? Return of The Killer Tomatoes!
That's right, we're back in 1988 with John de Bello's sequel, and in typical Mitch fashion, he's diving right in having not seen the original. Will he know what the hell is going on? As ever, the answer is "sort of".
The synopsis is as follows:
Pizza delivery man Chad Finletter must save the world and beautiful tomato-girl Tara.
