Welcome all to Episode 50, our ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY episode!
So, what better way to commemorate it than by bringing back a past guest... You might know him from Episode 4: In Defence of Rawhead Rex or indeed, his own podcast, The Podcast Under The Stairs, it's the hardest working man in horror podcasting, we are delighted to welcome Duncan McLeish back to the show!
His chosen film? The Hole!
A forgotten oddity from a bygone era! A time where teen horror was on the wane but a time that still saw the release of The Hole! Starring Thora Birch, Dexter's Desmond Harrington, Keira Knightley and Army of Darkness' Embeth Davidtz, The Hole is a strange little film that doesn't quite fit anywhere. Does it deserve to be consigned to the vaults? Does it deserve a second look? Let's find out... OH! Please note that this episode contains conversations of an adult nature.
The synopsis is as follows:
Tragically mysterious deaths have occurred, and English schoolgirl Liz Dunn knows what happened, so psychiatrist Philippa Horwood is brought in to investigate. Liz's story: Her friend Martyn sealed her, her pal Frances and handsome classmate Mike in a bomb shelter and left them to die. Only that might not be true, as Martyn claims Liz masterminded the plan that brought about such disturbing consequences.
Please note that this episode contains strong language, conversations of an adult nature and EXTREMELY Scottish accents.
